Jewellery is my channel of expression and because I have often struggled to find pieces that I liked, I decided to make my own.
The antiquated processes of manipulating metals is fascinating to me.
My practice is concerned with how I might come to terms with the ritualistic processes of making and the made objects relationship with context. The pieces that I make are often sculptural and sometimes small.
My work is largely concerned with nature and its influence on the metalsmithing process as well as ancient spirituality and hermeticism.
These pieces are intended to be mythic, raw heirlooms crafted with slow, meticulous care.
